PD : Can you describe the primary applications for the products offered by Garuda Pumps, and how do these solutions meet the unique needs of industries such as wastewater treatment and chemical processing?
AS : Our products cater to industries like wastewater treatment, chemical processing, and thermal power stations. For instance, our liquid ring vacuum pumps are ideal for condenser evacuation and ash handling in power plants, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
PD : What factors do Garuda Pumps consider when selecting material construction for pumps in harsh environments?
AS : We use materials like different stainless steel grades, duplex steel, and SG iron to withstand corrosive environments and extreme operating conditions. Material selection is based on the specific application and client requirements. We were pioneers in providing Titanium pumps for some clients and also with super duplex solutions.
PD : How does Garuda Pumps maximize efficiency in their pumps while maintaining high performance?
AS : We design pumps with advanced hydraulics, ensuring minimal energy consumption and reduced operational costs without compromising performance.

AS : Precision-engineered internal components and advanced sealing technologies help minimize friction, resulting in higher efficiency and longer pump life.
PD : What is Twin Lobe Roots Blower and how best can it be used?
AS : There are Positive Displacement Twin Lobe Compressors suitable for a wide range of operating speed to meet the exact capacity requirements of the application. They can do offered pressures in single stage upto 1Kg/cm2. Two stage machine can be offered for pressers upto 1.8- Kg/cm2. These machine can also be used as Exhausters, and for the compression of various gases.

AS : Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in India are equipped with advanced CNC and VMC machinery and testing equipment, ensuring precision and performance in every product. We have a robust dealer network across India and have expanded to serve clients in the US, EU, South America, Africa, Australia and beyond focusing on prompt service and technical support.The result is that we have now long been a Ministry of Commerce and Industry certified “Star Export House”. We wear that certification with pride.
PD : May we know about your environmental management policies?
AS : We are committed to eco-friendly practices. By definition, our pumps are designed to minimize energy consumption and reduce environmental impact. We incorporate green initiatives in our operations, such as using renewable energy, minimizing waste, and adopting sustainable sourcing for raw materials.
PD : Could we know your goal in the Industry?
AS : We aim to strengthen our global presence, particularly in the Americas, Europe and MENA region. Our R&D division is focused on developing IoT-enabled smart pumps, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve. In a positive development, the paper industry, which has long been scrutinized for its effects on forests and ecosystems, is now adopting innovative approaches to reconcile profitability with environmental stewardship. Indeed, sustainability in paper manufacturing has become a prevalent focus, driven by an increased awareness of its ecological consequences.
