New ANDRITZ pressurized refining system produces first fibers for Metro Decorative, India

ANDRITZ has delivered a pressurized refining system to Metro Decorative Pvt. Ltd, India. The new line has now successfully produced its first fibers at the medium-density fiberboard production facility in Kashipur.

Aman Garg, Director, Metro Decorative Pvt. Our new system has already produced its first fibers with exceptional quality at a consistently reliable performance.”

The pressurized refining system is equipped with a proven S1050 refiner with 3,300 kW installed power. It can produce 20 bdmt/h of high-quality fibers from wood chips. An efficient pre-steaming system contributes to high fiber quality and low electrical and thermal energy consumption.

The scope of supply also included a 16” plug screw feeder for optimized dewatering before refining, a maintenance-friendly 42” discharger, and an innovative pressurized digester with counter flow and steam regulation system.

Metro Decorative Pvt. Ltd. specializes in the production of Aluminum Composite Panels, Plywood, Particle Boards, MDF Boards, MDHMR Boards, and Laminates. The group manufactures its products at unique facilities located in Uttarakhand (Kashipur), Gujarat, and Haryana, India.
