Nine Dragons Paper announced a new round of downtime plans

On April 21, Nine Dragons Paper announced a new round of downtime plans for the Dongguan base.

The output of 11 paper machines is expected to decrease by nearly 100,000 tons between April 20 to May 04, 2023. This is the third round of suspension of production at the Dongguan base since the Spring Festival holidays. Following the production reduction of 98,000 tons from February to March, 2023.

Dongguan Nine Dragons is expected to cut market supply by 195,000 tons in the second round of shutdown from March 25 to April 30. Coupled with the latest plan of this round, the production reduction of the base will reach 393,000 tons.

Dongguan Nine Dragons currently has 16 paper machines with a total production capacity of 5.9 million tons per year, most of which are corrugated cardboard and duplex board.
